Soonets Jewlery Unique pieces
The warm Dominican lands have always been a source of inspiration to the creators of Soonets Jewlery. The maximum expression of design and jewelry handcrafting, unique noble metal-made pieces, natural stones, fresh water pearls and Swarovski crystals.
10 years ago, right from the capital, there was a passionate woman about jewelry designing. Like any starting business, Celia began to put all her ideas together. She had too many, but she found the right moment to organize them all and materialize it. Out of the blue, she moved to Ottawa and found even more sources of inspiration in a city full of contrasts. She dared to visit fields never explored before.
Today she is back in Punta Cana leading a new collection replete with warmth, freshness, and exclusivity. It holds a perfect balance between calmness and strength. According to her, her work represents the authentic representation of the Caribbean.
The slow and non-stop movement of the waves is reflected on each piece of her new collection. She said that her inspiration comes from watching the lights of the Caribbean every time she wakes up in the morning. The topaz represents the blue of the sea and sky, the peridot represents the nature and vegetation, the citrine represents the yellow tones of the sun and the sand.
When it starts to get dark, the sky turns into pink and we are able to see the magical glare in the rose-gold plating as well as the quartz.
The collection counts with 16 different pieces: 6 collars, 4 bracelets, 4 earrings and 2 rings. Each design has its own touch and overture. She uses various types of metal and plays around with other different colors.
Craft and Innovation
All pieces are crafted with cutting-edge technology in 3D CAD/CAM. First, she makes a wax impression using 3D printers and then they are molten in metal and plated in yellow 18K gold, rose 14K gold or in rhodium. Every piece is finished, polished and assembled very carefully by hand. This method is digitally precise, but also has a fantastic hand-finishing touch.
