The navy seals exercises that are all the rage
People say that good things usually last long, so it is not strange in the growing culture of physical and zental wellbeing to increase the proposals to be and feel better inside and out. Gyms, increasingly modern, have better and sophisticated equipment to practice crossfit, gap, trx, pilates or spinning.
Disciplines such as Crossfit or TRX promote functional training so, it seeks that the whole muscles we use in habitual movements of our daily activity to be exercised, instead of doing it in isolation. A trend that gained followers at the end of the last century and now has become a boom because it involves complete muscle chains such as the “core” or abdominal belt (including in this the pelvis and hips). Suspension training is one of the possibilities to practice functional training and TRX, such as the FHX or RIP. They are product brands to perform each of the movements and exercises in which feet or hands are held to the suspension equipment, that is, a single unstable anchor point, with one or two handles joined by a cable or tape. The other part of the body (hands or forearms if in the equipment are feet or knees) rests on the floor. By having a single point of attachment, the person must overcome the instability and combine it. This way, it is possible to develop strength, resistance, coordination, elasticity, and strengthening of the core.
The concept of training emerged in the mid-nineties from the special operations force of the Navy of the United States, the Navy Seal, who were looking for equipment for their training that was easy to transport and thus be able to use in their special missions. From a broken parachute they devised a set of harnesses with which they could exercise the whole body by using their own body weight as load. The fame of its effectiveness crossed the walls of the barracks, making furor in gyms around the world and now it is practiced by professional athletes, elite military corps and people who simply seek to improve their quality of life, including fans of the fitness. It is also being used successfully in clinical or rehabilitation settings. A very versatile and portable tool that can be used almost anywhere and at any time.
