Your inner dialogue
Do you hear an inner little voice that leads your days to something pleasant or to a real disaster that ends up in exhaustion? Do you recognize that voice? Take it easy, you are not crazy,
it is just your inner dialogue. By admitting our inner dialogue we accept that what we see and feel every day don’t have more meaning than the one given by “that inner voice” which in most of the cases is really persistent to boycott any of your thoughts or actions.
Your inner dialogue controls each of your thoughts and feelings and according to experts we have upwards of 50,000 thoughts per day.
Can you imagine your day bombarding you with 50,000 negative thoughts and all are aimed at you? How awful! Certainly, you have spent one day completely alone and you have felt exhausted because of all the messages received from “the little voice” such as you are not capable of, that he/she no longer loves you as before, at my age ... When you start to be aware of this situation, the first thing that comes to your mind is to run and run away from yourself generating “brilliant” ideas like, I’m going to move in, I’m going to change partners, I’m going to change my job and even I’m going to live in another country! Well then, all these exceptional ideas take you back in a very short time to the same situation because the little voice is still with you. What is clear is that 50,000 negative daily thoughts directly focus on our own waterline affect our health.
It would be an irresponsible attitude to think it is not and to avoid being aware of what our own “little voice” does to us.
The best way is to know that you can change the script of “the little voice”, it won’t be easy at first, “she” get used to managing your life and emotions and take away her power will upset her and she will want to remind you every day that you are an insecure person, but above all, unable to live your life without her guidance ... Is she who warns you about dangers that daily lie ahead of you, isn’t she? Is she who acts as an efficient psychologist analyzing what others are thinking of you, isn’t she? Is she who alerts you about all the things you should not do because you are not trained, isn’t she?, definitely not, you are not going to anywhere without her.
Through observation, compassion and tenderness you will gradually modify the script of “the little voice”. You must be patience with her, accept her and understand her, she must learn what the new scenario is. Her new role in the movie of your life should be the one you have chosen, thus you will give way to the expression of your heart, to the true feeling of your soul. Humans spend a lot of time trying to understand everything but there is nothing to understand, actually. The simplicity of our real inner needs makes us to have those feelings of security, tranquility and peace. You should try to run and interpret the true script of your life.
